It's usually the one thing that helps differentiate between angels and human beings, so make sure you have a halo as well. This is usually in a pale yellow or gold color and if you don't want to make your own, you can purchase them as headbands in any costume shops. These usually go for pretty cheap, especially the basic ones.
You can personalize your angel costume and make your character be a hot angel, sexy angel, fairy-like angel, holy angel, pure angel or even a child angel in which you can add minute props like a rattle or so. If you'd want to take it to the next step, try carrying colse to a bow and arrow and you'd be the angel of love, otherwise known as Cupid!
