This Halloween, there is an even greater choice of fancy dress available than ever before. This means that there is no excuse for predictably dressing up as a witch or vampire yet again. However, it can be very difficult to decide on a costume, given the bewildering range of outfits to choose from. So here's a recommendation -- why not dare to be mischievous and naughty and dress up as a dark messenger in a devil red or black angel costume? There are some fabulous outfits colse to at the moment and fallen angel costumes are among the sexiest around!
If you have strangeness in choosing either to be naughty or nice, then a double issue angel fancy dress costume will show your true colors. The costume represents the equilibrium in the middle of good and evil and a dual personality. I have seen a fabulous Gothic skull dark angel costume, which includes a black dress with silver lacing at the front and a tattered skull printed skirt, a headband with mini skull detailing colse to a black halo and black sheer wings. Matching accessories contain a skull wand and opaque black stockings also with skull detailing. This angel costume would be fabulous teamed with black lace-up boots and elbow distance black gloves.
If you want to display your rebellious streak, then you will undoubtedly stand out in the crowd in a full-length silver coloured fallen angel costume, available for hire or purchase straight through the internet. This is one of the most beautiful angel fancy dress outfits I have seen and could undoubtedly double up as an evening gown. The clever thing about this dress is that the wings are attached by sliding the metal wires at the end of the wings directly into two thin discreet slots (one for each wing), sewn into the inside of the back of the dress.
Therefore, if you want to wear it minus wings, it is easy to do so. The wings themselves are huge, fabulous creations and the silver coloured rose halo could double as a tiara for an evening function. This is not a cheap costume, costing in the region of 200 dollars, but is well worth it in my opinion, as it looks very classy and is so versatile.
So, there's no excuse for donning that tired old Freddie Krueger mask or Dracula's fangs. Have fun instead in a fallen angel fancy dress costume this Halloween!
